Itinerary Chiappera – Cascate di Stroppia

An easy trail that alternates unpaved tracks with paved ones. It develops in a charming area
that hosts the characteristic village of Chiappera, the last one of the Maira valley, framed by the
majestic profile of Rocca Castello-Provenzale as well as by the peaks at the border with France. The
spectacular “Stroppia waterfalls” dominate the area: many nature and photography enthusiasts
come here every year, between early May and late June, to fill their eyes with this wonder of nature.
