Acceglio, the last district of the Maira Valley at the border with France, offers numerous opportunities for mtb enthusiasts.

The   itineraries, which lie deep in the wilderness of the upper Maira Valley, are technical and of varying level.  They wind through breathtaking panoramas and stunning natural features such as the Springs of Maira, the Waterfall of Stroppia, alpine lakes, small hamlets and high mountain paths.  The ideal period for tackling these excursions is during the summer when the small hamlet is a very popular destination for Italian and foreign tourists.
