Route Anello Strada dei Cannoni

A long trail that, starting from the bottom of the Varaita Valley, leads to the higher area of Bellino
while crossing the panoramic “Strada dei Cannoni” situated at the border with the Maira Valley.
The military route rapidly climbs uphill and, on a clear day, offers enchanting views on both Cottian
and Maritime Alps. Built towards mid-700, it was never used as the fights were confined around the
walls of Cuneo. Pedalling downhill along the larch wood leading to Bellino will take your breath
away: here, you will admire the sundials and the typical alpine architecture.
