Alevè Tourist Centre in Casteldelfino

Entering the visitor centre of Casteldelfino means being immersed in the scent and colour of the forest of Alevè.

It is no ordinary museum but a magical place where the path accompanies us into the heart of the most extensive stone pine forest in Europe, to spy from close up on its inhabitants which we hardly ever can in nature.

The tour follows a path in the wood, which is populated by boars and black grouse, skims a rocky wall to arrive surprisingly at Lake Bagnour and the room devoted to lynxes.

A world of colours, scents and sounds which transport the visitor into the magical atmosphere of the Alevè forest.
