Hiking ring at the foot of the King of Stone
“Horizon Monviso” is a hiking ring of remarkable beauty and variety.
It is an extremely rewarding trek from many aspects, offering cultural, artistic and environmental highlights. The jewel in the crown of this itinerary is the horizon, which is like a painting before the gaze of those who embark on it – the Monviso mountains appear and disappear and, after a brief climb on the slope opposite, reappear with a new face, a fresh aspect, an unusual colour and are always magical.
The walk will be a voyage of discovery and the relatively easy climb of the entire itinerary will make up for the length of some of the stages.
