Mountain bike: from Saluzzo in Santa Cristina di Verzuolo

A challenging 24 km path for expert cyclists, with a 500 meter climb, half on tarmac roads and half on dirt tracks.

Leaving the centre of Saluzzo, you reach the Castle and, through a steeply slope, the ridge between Saluzzo and the Bronda Valley.

From the roadside statue called “Pilone Botta”, you cross a forested area and reach the small church of Santa Cristina (c 850m), which looks out over the whole plain: this spot, which is appreciated in summer for its fresh climate, is found on the watershed between Saluzzo, Manta and Verzuolo.  From here you enjoy a wonderful view over the Monviso.

As there are so many small roads, it is essential that you follow the signs.   The itinerary is also accessible on foot following the Fit walking signs.
