A way for contemporary art between France and Italy
Via Per l’Arte Contemporanea (VIAPAC) is a cross border project between Italy and France. It was established to enhance the alpine region by displaying the works of major contemporary artists, bringing to life an artistic trail between the city of Digne-les-Bains in France and Caraglio, crossing the entire Stura Valley.
The trail offers a series of displays of contemporary artists in an alpine setting, with the works of art being placed out in the natural environment or in buildings which are part of the cultural heritage.
In the Stura Valley, the works of art of the VIAPAC trail can be found in Roccasparvera, Demonte, Aisone, Moiola, Vinadio.
