Sheep-farming Eco-museum

The Sheep Farming Eco-museum is in the hamlet of Pontebernardo, in the municipality of Pietraporzio, in the upper Stura Valley of Demonte.  A museum trail which tells of rearing livestock in the Stura Valley both in the past and today.

You can visit the shed which houses selected rams in winter, the workshop where the Sambuco sheep meat is processed and the cheese factory.  The trail finishes with a tasting of the products.
